What does 2023 Look Like
Generation Fire Retreat Report
On behalf of the Generation Fire Family and Team we would like to extend Blessings to all of our supporters and friends. Most of all we mark this time of year to Glorify God as we celebrate the greatest act of Love by sending his Son Jesus to be among us. We are reminded of Good will, Be Generous and Kind to one another.
We remind ourselves that God showed us the importance of family and community. Thankyou to everyone who has prayed and believed in this cause. We look forward to partnering with you in 2023 to advance the Kingdom of God even further.
What does 2023 Look Like
Can you believe that 2022 has come and gone just like that. I can say we have seen God move powerfully through out the year as we reflect on 2022. The World was recovering from the impact of a Pandemic , Much of the Church around the World had gone backwards and is in a season of rebuilding. We saw the outbreak of war. Global tensions rising around the world. At the same time through the ministry of Generation Fire we saw new relationships forged.
God was opening up new regions , new board members were elected. For a 2nd year running we had Burning Hearts at Kihilla. And throughout the year successful Prayer Furnaces were being held in regional areas. The year concluded with a Strategic Prayer Breakfast and a Retreat in Katoomba.
2022 was about rebuilding and this will continue into 2023
2023
We will see teams formed , there will be momentum as we contend to continue to build the foundations and then see a redefiining of the areas of ministry God would have us focus on.
Generation Fire Missions and Adventures will kick off again We will be participating in the World Prayer Assembly in October 2023 , There will be an International Gathering in Nepal in April stay tune for more details on that. We will be looking at starting more prayer furnaces and growing teams to mobilise prayer , hold events to train and equip the body of Christ. Send teams to carry the fire of God to nations.
We are praying about going to Africa and visiting Kenya, Uganda , we will also look at South East Asia and the Pacific Islands.
We know the emphasis is to teach on prayer , being led by the Holy spirit , how to live in Gods Rest. Teaching on living as Sons and Daughters of God. Teeching on how to live in the Power of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus. This is part of Gods calling over Generation Fire as a movement to help train and equip a generation to carry the FIre from Heaven. To be Carriers of Gods Fire and Presence to walk and live as Jesus did.
Generation Fire Retreat - Report
On the last weekend of November , we set aside a whole weekend to sit at the feet of Jesus and to listen to his words for Generation Fire as a movement. We gathered from the Friday Lunch to the Sunday Lunch and throughout the retreat we had people travel from as far as Port Macquarie
It was to be an important time for us as a movement as we gave time to seek his face and to spend time in worship and prayer.
The Lord did move in a powerful way and using the time to release significant prophetic words. A time of refreshing and personal refreshment. A time of building up each other in Christ. And we also included a Vision casting session during the afternoon and on the Saturday evening was a short prayer furnace.
We walk away from this retreat with deeper friendships formed, a deeper revelation of Gods rest and the mandate God is giving to Generation Fire as a movement.
The key message that God was speaking to us collectively is that Generation Fire is a movement not defined by age. It is multi generational and it is defined by what is in our hearts. God brings us together around common purpose and cause.
In 2023 we will explore this deeper as we prepare and position for what God is about to do on the earth.
