Elcho Island 2016 Mission & Adventure News
As we right this Update - Preparations have begun for sending a team of Firestarters to Elcho Island on the 29th September. This Trip has been 2 years in the making. And so far there is close to 15 people who will be coming to spend 10 days. We have heard that locals will come from many of the surrounding Islands. There is growing excitement and anticipation that this is going to be an amazing an incredible time in the presence of God. Elcho Island is the birth place of a Revival that swept through the Top end in the late 1970's. It seems it is the Fathers heart to breath on the embers that still burn on Elcho. 10 Days of Fire , 10 Days of Seeing His Kingdom Come, This is our 10th Year as a movement.
We are inviting you to partner with Generation Fire to help send people to Elcho Island as a team. The costs we need to cover would be Flights, Food, Transport, and incidentals for the ministry that will take place. If you would like to make a donation to support the team there is a link below to make a donation. It will cost approximately $1500 - $1800 per person. The Door is open and the Holy Spirit is already at work in mobilising people. The team travelling will include people from different cities and include a small team from New Zealand.
